The challenge

Kestrel roasted some of the best coffee in Porto, but its bags looked like every other roaster on the shelf, and wholesale orders still ran over WhatsApp.

Our approach

A shelf presence and a proper shop

A spaced-out wordmark, a colour system per origin and recyclable bags gave Kestrel instant shelf recognition. Behind it, a shop with subscriptions and a wholesale portal replaced the spreadsheets.

  • Origin colours that make the range easy to read at a glance

  • Self-serve wholesale ordering with saved café profiles

  • Subscriptions with flexible delivery schedules

The results

The new brand opened doors with cafés that had previously said no.

  • Wholesale accounts grew 47% in six months

  • Online subscription revenue up 62%

  • Repeat order rate of 71%

Cafés recognise our bags from across the room now, and ordering takes them two minutes.
